Electronic musical instruments have a comparatively short history. We were one of the pioneers ... and are still considered to be No. 1 in the industry.
Our company was founded in 1966 - at a time when the home electronic organs were being introduced. Our founder - Arthur Lord had spent his early life playing and broadcasting on theatre organs.
The so-called “electronic organ” for the home was originally sold through normal music shops. Arthur was dismayed to find the people selling them often knew less about the product than their prospective customers. He quickly foresaw a market for specialised organ retailers. He opened our first store in Woking and its instant success resulted in the idea being copied. Eventually organ shops were in practically every major town in the country.
From the beginning Arthur made sure that his staff knew what they were talking about and were qualified to give advice where needed. This maxim has always been paramount.
Today the emphasis is on electronic pianos, acoustic pianos and classical organs. Whatever your interest, you will find every one of us eager to help. We have a proud reputation to uphold !
