Fantastic value! It's great to be offered a choice of finish for the first time on the entry level CVP; either dark rosewood or cherry. The informative display screen makes easy work of selecting the superb range of sounds and rhythms. There are excellent tutorial features too, including music appearing on the screen and a mode where it's impossible to play a duff note (a must for Les Dawson soundalikes!)

Music clips hold the more stubborn books open (even most traditional pianos don't have these any more!)  Auto harmony offers the popular feature of playing complete chords with just a single note in the right hand  (OK, we know it's cheating, but quite a lot of people ask for it!)

This is the first model in the CVP range to include the rather stylish new tilting display. The whole control panel pivots over to double up as the key cover. It's a soft fall lid, so there's no chance of little fingers getting caught underneath. You get a choice of three finishes on this model - dark rosewood, cherry and mahogany.

The piano sound is higher quality than the CVP301, plus you get a more generous range of rhythm accompaniments (258, as opposed to 180). If you're a reluctant vocalist, the built in harmonies are sure to give you the courage to have a go. Plug in a mic and listen in wonder, as a whole ensemble of backing vocalists join in with you!

The improved GH3 key action gives this model a more authentic piano touch than the lower models. You also get a nice clear colour display screen, for more user-friendly operation. Yamaha's superb Mega voices put in their first appearance on this model - these are really high quality sounds which have to be heard to be believed! 

Superb range of 308 accompaniments (50 more than the CVP303). There's even a video out, to display the contents of the LCD on a television screen (ideal for karaoke evenings!)

Fantastic 'supreme' piano tone uses a massive stereo piano sample, for incredible accuracy. Add to this an effect which simulates a real piano soundboard, and you've got an instrument that gets amazingly close to reproducing the beauty and resonance of a grand piano.

Huge colour display screen makes using the instrument a real pleasure.The elegant pseudo-grand styling really gives the instrument a classy look. 386 accompaniment styles should cater for pretty well any rhythm you can think of (plus a whole load of pleasant surprises!)

For those who simply must have the best, this is it!

Natural wooden keys give a really gorgeous feel to the key action. The mahogany polyester finish looks really handsome, and is of the same quality that would would expect to see on a grand piano.

Simply oozing with the highest quality sounds and rhythms that Yamaha have to offer! Hundreds of easy One Touch Settings make it incredibly easy to get a great sound from this beautiful piano.

Beware - once you've seen and heard this, it will spoil you for everything else!
