The YDP131 offers a no-fuss approach to the player who wants to sit down and begin playing immediately. It boasts a range of stereo sampled instrument voices including: Grand Piano, Electric Piano, Pipe Organ and Strings, and 30 sampling banks for increased sound quality. The built-in reverb effects make it sound like you’re playing in a concert hall and the GH (graded sound action) keyboard allows you to transfer your skills perfectly to an acoustic piano. Yamaha - CLP-220
The first piano in the CLP Clavinova range, the CLP220 is the perfect start to anyone’s piano career. The keyboard boasts a full 88 keys – just as you would find on an acoustic piano. Yamaha’s Graded Hammer action keyboard, with heavier weighting in the bass register graded through to light weighting in the treble, means that playing the CLP220 is almost identical to playing an acoustic. 10 AWM voices include a superb stereo sampled grand piano and harpsichord amongst others. The new CLP230 is equipped with a range of useful features, all at a bargain price. Yamaha's renown GH3 graded hammer action keyboard is featured on this model, recreating trhe classic grand piano touch. Also featured is a selection of 14 quality sounds enabling fun after practice and the ability to layer sounds for example piano and strings. Yamaha - CLP240
The CLP240 takes a further step towards ultimate piano realism, with 3-step Dynamic Stereo Sampling – this means that samples are taken at different levels, from pianissimo to fortissimo. Furthermore, stereo sustain and key-off samples reproduce even the most subtle nuances of an acoustic piano. The new Dynamic Damper Effect system takes this realism even further whilst an uprated amplifer and speaker system means the CLP240 delivers its sound with increased clarity and definition. The CLP240 also features Yamaha's renown GH3 graded hammer action keyboard recreating the classic grand piano touch.

The sound in produced by 2 x 40 watt speakers. The usual 14 sounds have a few variations each, enabling you to customise the sound the piano makes in accordance with the style of piece. Keeping right up-to-date with modern computer technology, a USB drive has been offered for the first time on the CLP range, enabling composition and interface with a more modern hardware. osewood, mahogany or cherry finishes are available and each comes with a matching stool!
